Psychotherapy Websites
My husband Skip Jentsch specializes in the promotion of psychotherapy websites, including
my own.  Today 80% of my client referrals come to my practice through my website, which Skip
manages for me.  But I will let him tell you more in his own words....

Do you have a psychotherapist website that is not pulling its weight?  Or do you need to
create your first website?

To make your psychotherapist website more engaging and productive, I focus on writing or
acquiring website articles which add substance to the site.  This makes your website and your
practice more attractive to potential clients and makes them more likely to pick up the phone and call
you.  I also focus on technical search engine optimization and pay per click advertising campaign
management.  This technical work is designed to make your website rank high in Google search
results and other search engines when anyone searches for a psychotherapist in your practice area
and also lives near enough to your office.

I also create websites from scratch.  All services I provide are geared toward generating new
clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.  My rate is $75/hour and each engagement
length is unique according to what needs to be done.  I have created very basic websites for $700.  I
always establish a budget cap and guarantee the number of pages I will create before I start any
website project.

Here is a menu of my services:

    •  Interview(s) to determine direction for the website
    •  Writing articles, or sourcing of articles written by others, for posting on your website
    •  Website search engine optimization using editing/copywriting and technical methods
    •  Paid search advertisement campaign management (like Google Adwords; this is actually the
secret to the success of Suzanne’s website)
    •  I can work with your current website provider, or I can create one from scratch
    •  Website server log review to prove if all the above efforts are successful, to prove if the
    expenditure pays off
    •  Monthly statistical reports to see if any optional spending on advertising pays off.  (For
each $1 that Suzanne spends on advertising, she gets $13 in new client income)

My initial interviews with my psychotherapist website clients encourage them to really think
about their private practice in ways similar to those in Lynn Grodzki’s book, “Building Your Ideal
Private Practice.”  Yes, I am a computer guy with over 20 years experience in the industry, but I have
also been married to a therapist for over 20 years.  The interview will not be focused on technical
issues at all.

So take a look at Suzanne’s website which I created from scratch.  It attracts 8 out of 10 of her
new clients, so try to imagine how a prospective client views the site.  I wrote all of the content on
each page except for some articles from whose authors I obtained publishing permission.

You can click on the link at the end of this page to visit the site.  But before you do, bookmark
this page because once you leave you cannot return here.  I have made this page a “dead end”
page so that it won’t confuse Suzanne’s psychotherapy clients.

Finally, if you do not have a website, consider these reasons to have one:

    •  To establish a website presence, which today is as important as having a phone number
    •  To list your name, address, phone and a map to your office location so people can reach
    you easily
    •  To attract new clients via the web
    •  To maintain relationships with existing clients via enewsletters - optional
    •  To offer all clients a method of online payment via credit cards - optional

For all visitors to this website I offer a free psychotherapy website design consultation by
telephone.  We can talk about what you would want the website to do and what I can do to help you.
To take me up on this offer please email me at
info@suzannecorcoran.com (I screen all of
Suzanne’s website email) or call me at 202-208-7999 anytime.   I would especially like to work with
therapists outside of the Washington, D.C. area since I do not want to create or update a website
that would compete with Suzanne's!
